Disclaimer: I had so much fun doing EVERYONE’S tattoos this year if you aren’t on the list don’t take it personally. I have a lot of stuff I would have loved to put on here but this would have been a never ending post. Lots of things are in progress too and I didn’t want to include them as they aren’t fully finished. With that said here’s my list part 2! 4) Missy the Dog - I’m always honored when someone trusts me to recreate their beloved pet as a tattoo. I did quite a LOT of them this year and I’d love to post everyone but I’m most proud of this one. This was a two day back to back session five and a half hours total. I really tried to push more realism into my illustrative style to match the provided reference film photograph. 3) Fathers Daughter Pool Day - Well this one had to make the list. I really enjoyed, yet again, working from a film photograph. Seems to be a theme this year that I bordered things as well. This one was a challenge as the figures were too small and frankly really hard to make out in the photo. So I opted to not tattoo the facial features and evoke the feelings of the moment in the color palette and action. I think it actually lends to the tattoo making it appear more like a memory. 2) “Anakin is no more, I am what remains” - I don’t think it’s any surprise this is in my top favorite tattoos. So much time, care, and attention to detail went into this sleeve. It was a wild journey and one I look back on fondly. I really tried to push object source lighting with how each element of the sleeve interacts with one another, and again pushing the limits of how detailed things can be and age appropriately. I’m equally as proud of the inside of the arm as the outside but if you’ve been on my page you’ve seen it all 😉 1.5) Vampire’s familiar - This one is an honorable mention. I love drawing flash and I love it even more when you guys are stoked on what I draw. This was one of my favorite flash pieces of the year. 1) Sharp wings - So this one may come a surprise as it’s not typically what I do, but I am obsessed with the outcome. It was so fun to play in this style and try something new. Such a dynamic silhouette and impressive tattoo.

With that said here’s my list! 10) St. Michael w/ UAP - Anytime I get to do full figure anatomy in a classical way I jump at the opportunity. It was so fun to create this and try some new things like using negative space within the halo. 9) Dinosaurs - This is as such an iconic part of my childhood, the show was so captivating and the magic of Jim Henson is just undeniable. Had so much fun with the color palette and getting out of my comfort zone by using my mag as a liner for the first time to create these plaid stripes. 8) Blue Footed Booby - Such a simple tattoo but somehow it holds a special place for me. Having traveled to the Galápagos Islands as a teenager with my mom these guys were kind of the highlight of my trip. So when I was approached to tattoo one all the memories of the “Booby dance” resurfaced. Overall it is such a clean composition and that’s why I like it. 7) Blue Whale and Clipper - I love how the textures came out on this one. The whale really feels wise from years of life roaming the ocean and there is a sweet gentleness in the care in which it’s investigating the Clipper ship. 6) Witch King of Angmar - Obviously I had to put a LOTR tattoo on this list. It was a hard choice on which one, but this one really spoke to me as I loved doing the unholy aura behind the bust. It just ended up feeling very organic and representative of the Witch King’s presence. 5) R2D2 - The prospect of tattooing droids is always daunting. So many straight lines, details, vents, and panels 😵‍💫. I had a lot of fun doing some lived in texture and battle damage, soot, and debris on R2 this time. I wanted them to feel like a lived in character who has seen the adventures of the trilogies and not one straight off the factory floor.

On November 8th, 2025, I got to marry my best friend, @lindsaybyrd — on our sixteenth anniversary, no less. ♥️ never has there been a more stunning bride ♥️ she looked like a genuine princess and I aim to make her feel like that every day for the rest of my life. To our friends and family who joined us for our micro-elopement, we love you endlessly. And to everyone who came out to our LA celebration or sent encouragement from afar on our special day, we felt every bit of that love too. It was, without question, the best day of my life. 🥹 I still get teary thinking about it, and I’m absolutely riding the wedding high, replaying every moment. Jaime, @voyageandvine you made this day look as EPIC as it felt, we’re so grateful to you. @hbarcofficial and @phixclothing had me looking and feeling my finest. The PNW was showing off on our wedding day and despite forecasts of rain there wasn’t a cloud in the sky that day at Sahalie Falls. Forever and ever and on and on I’ll follow you into the great beyond 💍

A reimagined family photograph for Jamie — her and her father enjoying a sunny pool day. I wanted it to feel painterly—like a moment captured in oils, soft and timeless, yet abstract like trying to recall the past. It was such an honor to help commemorate a memory this meaningful. The Tale of the Tattoo series continues! This time I got to work with Kathleen for her first tattoo. She was a referral from her husband Elliot 😊. Kathleen came to me with the concept of recreating one of her favorite album covers by the band @hotmulligan . We did a little switcheroo and made the dog her pup Bee Bop and I suggested changing the scenery up to a place that was meaningful to her. She chose Lake Tahoe (great choice) as that’s where they got married. It came out so cute and is just the perfect little momento to her family. It all came together in such an organic way. That’s the beauty of working WITH your tattoo artists. So much of this process is collaborative and to me that’s the fun part. Anyways, if you made it through this whole short story I appreciate it. Trying something new with this one. “Tale of the Tattoo” series will take you guys from the initial contact with my client, to the drawing, and then finally to the tattoo. I think it’s fun to see some behind the scenes things and show people how we get from the very starting point to the end result.
