The Tale of the Tattoo series continues! This time I got to work with Kathleen for her first tattoo. She was a referral from her husband Elliot 😊. Kathleen came to me with the concept of recreating one of her favorite album covers by the band @hotmulligan . We did a little switcheroo and made the dog her pup Bee Bop and I suggested changing the scenery up to a place that was meaningful to her. She chose Lake Tahoe (great choice) as that’s where they got married. It came out so cute and is just the perfect little momento to her family. It all came together in such an organic way. That’s the beauty of working WITH your tattoo artists. So much of this process is collaborative and to me that’s the fun part. Anyways, if you made it through this whole short story I appreciate it.
